The tool design incorporates jacket size gauges on the tool body for ease of selecting proper jacket slitting slot. It can slit the following jacket size ranges:

Slot size and Slitting diameter:

1.50 mm - 1.90 mm	1.60mm
2.00 mm - 2.40 mm	2.0mm
2.50 mm - 2.90 mm	2.50mm
3.00 mm - 3.30 mm	3.0mm

SLITTING INSTRUCTIONS:

1.To choose slitting slot according to the fiber jacket outter diameter. (Picture 1 and Picture 2)

2.Open the tool by push the opposite side.

3.Position the jacket in the appropriate slot, and close the slitter with finger pressure. (Picture 3)

4.Grasp the tool firmly and pull in the desired direction. The tool produces two cuts in the jacket, 180° from each other. (Picture 4)

5.The split jacket can now be separated to access the fiber. Trim the jacket sections as desired. (Picture 5 and Picture 6)
